HOUSTON – March 24, 2020 – Casey McKeon has been named president of CareAllies, a Cigna company that works side-by-side with independent physicians to accelerate their transition to value-based care.

In this role, McKeon will focus on further connecting care between patients and providers with value-based care solutions that help reduce health care costs, while improving quality and overall care experiences.

“Over the course of his career, Casey has led teams managing complex health plan programs and consistently delivered results that improved quality and affordability,” said Brian Evanko, president of Cigna's Government Business, which includes CareAllies. “I am confident our CareAllies business will continue to innovate and grow under his leadership, making health care more affordable, predictable and simple for provider partners and the patients they serve.”

McKeon most recently served as chief operating officer for CareAllies with responsibility for executing the  business strategy, operating plan, capital allocation and financial results for all business areas.

Prior to CareAllies, he led health services and revenue management for Cigna's Medicare Advantage business. Under his leadership, Cigna achieved the highest CMS Star ratings in the company’s history with 87% of customers in a 4-Star rated plan or higher nationally for 2021 – including a 5-Star rated plan in Florida.

He previously served in market leadership roles for Cigna's Medicare Advantage business; as vice president of operations for the Houston-based Radiology Benefits Manager (RBM) HealthHelp; and as director of Medicare at Humana.
