Rob Cetti

President

As president of CareAllies, Rob is responsible for CareAllies strategic and operational initiatives, including product and market expansion. He focuses on further connecting care between patients, providers and payers through innovative value-based care solutions that help improve quality and the overall care experience while reducing health care costs.

Rob brings 25 years of health care experience to his role, with extensive leadership experience in contracting with hospitals and physicians as well as designing programs that deliver affordable, high-quality clinical outcomes.

Prior to CareAllies, he led Cigna's affordability efforts for U.S. Commercial and Medicare Advantage in Arizona, focusing on provider contracting in the market, including for Medicare and accountable care organizations in alternative payment models. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University.

Peter Gardner

Senior Vice President, Provider Engagement

Peter leads a multi-functional team responsible for developing Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), Clinically Integrated Networks (CIN), and Independent Physician Associations (IPA). He also supports the strategic vision of client provider organizations, implements programs to enhance quality, affordability, simplicity and predictability, and manages key initiatives to achieve the overall financial results.

Prior to joining CareAllies to lead Provider Engagement Operations in 2016, Peter held a variety of leadership roles across Cigna's Medicare Advantage business including as Texas Market Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Texas market, and Vice President of Network Operations for the Tennessee market. He was previously an administrator for North American Medical Management, a physician management company and a predecessor company to Cigna's Medicare Advantage business.

Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Joe Nicholson, III, DO

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Joe Nicholson provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and thought leadership for CareAllies’ clinical programs and operations, including ACO and social determinants of health strategies and operations. Additionally, he supports business development and provides clinical oversight for all companies and programs under CareAllies. 

Dr. Nicholson has held leadership roles at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) of Oklahoma, a subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), and was instrumental in helping to establish Oklahoma’s health information exchange, partnering with the state of Oklahoma and Oklahoma University.

He earned his medical degree at Oklahoma State University – College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at Oklahoma University College of Medicine – Tulsa. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Allen Perez, MBA

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Allen Perez leads partnership development efforts with providers at CareAllies. He has a long track record of working with providers to develop strategies and partnership arrangements that accelerate their transition and increase their success in value-based payment arrangements.

Prior to his role at CareAllies, Allen led new Market Development for Cigna's Medicare Advantage business, including its work to establish new partnerships with physician groups and delivery systems. Earlier in his tenure, Allen oversaw the physician management company for one of Cigna Medicare’s most successful provider partnerships. Before joining Cigna, he served in strategic and operational roles at Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and Master of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.

Cynthia Tate

Vice President, Information Technology

Cynthia Tate leads the technology roadmap for CareAllies, ensuring the quality and timeliness of technology deployment to CareAllies customers.

Cynthia brings more than 20 years of technology delivery leadership experience to her role, most recently leading Cigna efforts supporting Robotics Processing Automation (RPA) and patient care business areas. She previously held leadership roles at USAA, supporting focus areas including cyber security, technology solutions and supplier relationships, and at Kinetics Concept Inc. (KCI), where she was responsible for Sales Operations and IT Global Portfolio.

Cindy began her career by enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, serving on active duty as an intelligence analyst for 12 years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University in Nebraska, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, and holds PMP, GSEC and SPC certifications.
